Jesus Lopez started his musical training at a very early age of four. He began his Woodwind studies on 2006 on the Clarinet and Saxophone and soon after Oboe, Flute, and Bassoon. Jesus in his scholastic years participated in numerous Solo and Ensemble festivals, All-County, All-State ensembles. Jesus has participated in the Music for All concert festival in 2011, Tri-State Festival in 2013, and The International Clarinet Association “ClarinetFest” appearing with the “Licorice Sticks Clarinet Orchestra”. Jesus has experience playing in Musical productions appearing in shows including Les Miserable, Guys and Dolls, Miss Saigon, and Chicago, which he was a part of during the premiere China Tour. Jesus has studied under Eric Cole, Vanessa Vache, and Richard Kissinger for woodwind studies. Currently Jesus is pursuing Two Bachelor degrees in Music Education, and Music Performance at the University of Central Florida.
Jesus has performed in various venues around the world including performances in South America, Australia, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Jesus is very proficient in multiple genres of music as he regularly performs in orchestras, wind ensembles, jazz bands, latin ensembles, musical pit orchestras, and even German Polka bands and Mariachi groups. Jesus also works with a multitude of music programs in the Central Florida area ranging from middle schools, high schools, youth groups, volunteer groups, and marching bands, he often working the ensembles or adjudicating. Jesus performs regularly in the Orlando area. Jesus is extremely excited to have to have you guys jump in and join the ASM team!
