Owner and founder of ASM Studios, Mr. Jose was born in the Dominican Republic shortly after his family escaped Cuban communism in 1984. He began to learn the piano at the age of 7 and quickly advanced in ear training and improvisation. By the age of 16 he was an accomplished pianist and guitarist and began leading worship bands at his local church. By the age of 19, his journey to mastering the piano began with Drucilla Engel at Valencia College. In 2005, he was the first pianist at Valencia to win the College Winter Symposium Award and was granted a scholarship to study with Dr. Michael Rickman at Stetson University in Deland FL. In 2007, he was invited to perform, along side Dr. Rickman, in the Schlern Music Festival in Italy.
Maestro Jose fell in love with the Orchestra and began preparation to pursue directing and writing for such ensembles. "I don't believe in writing music for an instrument I've never experienced". For this reason he began his Cello studies with Brenda Higgins from the Orlando Philharmonic and Rollins College. After countless hours, passion and determination for this beautiful instrument, Maestro Jose was accepted at the Masters level in Orchestral Conducting with Cello as his main instrument.
Maestro Aenlle began his studies in Orchestral Conducting under the direction of Maestro Lazlo Marosi. The knowledge of leading an orchestra and his composition/arranging skills have equipped him to arrange top of the line orchestral scores for several artists such as Troy Gifford (Guitar Concierto) and top Jazz artists like Bria Skonberg. Mr. Jose is an active performer and conductor in the community leading symphonic bands, choirs, string ensembles, and pop/rock bands. Currently he is the director of music at Spirit of Joy and the founder and director of the Valencia College Orchestra and passionately teaches along side the best artists in Central Florida here at ASM Studios.
